Most of the Dubai Media houses were of course present covering the event. They held multiple interviews with the different Tecno executives and what stood out was that Tecno is finally expanding to not only cover most of Africa but also the Middle East. According to one of their press releases, “the rate of growth in emerging markets for the past decade and a half has been twice that of advanced countries and this trend is unlikely to abate anytime soon”. What is wow about the Phantom 6
From the days of the Phantom A, it is hard to imagine that Tecno could get this far. Looking at both flagships (The Phantom A and the Phantom 6) one thing is clear; Tecno has made tremendous progress in the smartphone business not to mention a bold statement that they can actually keep up in the first paced smartphone industry. The Tecno Phantom 6 and the 6 Plus have a premium design comparable to any other high end flagship with some rally monster specs. The Phantom 6 is a 7.05mm thin, Dual SIM 4G LTE device with a 5.5 inch FHD AMOLED display, a 2.0 Ghz octa-core 64 bit processor, 3GB RAM 16GB ROM, a 13MP dual – rear and 5MP front camera, a 2700mAh battery and a USB type C charger and port. The Tecno Phantom 6 Plus is a Dual SIM 4G LTE device with a 6.0 inch FHD display, a 2.0 Ghz deca-core 64 bit processor, 4GB RAM 32GB ROM, a 21MP dual – rear and 8MP front camera, a fingerprint sensor, a 4050mAh battery and a USB type C charger and port. We have had a chance to experience the Phantom 6 Plus for the last 6 weeks and we can confirm that it is not just hype. The Phantom 6 is a real beast for a device. We shall be bringing you a full comprehensive review breaking down feature by feature soon.
